First, there was Terminator: Salvation, then Revenge of the Fallen and now GI Joe but I just can't seem to get enough of these action packed films that use state of the graphics.

Contrary to popular belief that familiarity breeds contempt, I feel each of these movies although all have robots and weapons as their main attraction, each of them is truely unique to their own. So for all of you who loved Transformers 2, GI Joe is a MUST! Get ready to experience a similar yet totally different experience!

Sounds ironic................we'll watch the film and you will see what I mean! The techonology used here is once again breathtaking for both the Joe's and Cobra's who aren't still known as that. For know, the evil counterparts of the are still recognised as Neo Vipers.

Even the subplots of the relationships between the characters does not just focus on the Duke-Baroness love affair, which is excellent as it allows other characters to get better development, in particular Ripcord-Scarlett who happen to share great chemistry! The ninja storyline between Snake Eyes and Shadow Storm also allowed better character development to both of these characters.

Sienna Miller as the Baroness was just the icing on the cake.........she plays the femme fatale who still has a soft spot for her former love Duke convincingly. The fact that she looks effin hot both as a blonde and brunette (in a leather suit) is of course an added bonus.

Marlon Wayans as one of the Joe's provides comic relief in an otherwise racy and serious movie. The scenes where he tries to court Scarlett were both funny and romantic at times.

Well, I have not given out the plot or the twists out..........because I want you to go to the theatre and watch it for yourself!

As one of my friends, had visited the sister branch of this joint in Fraser's Hills, she promptly suggested that we have tea here.

The place is supposed to give u a British experience with pastries and English tea, Devonshire to be precise. When I first looked at the menu, I felt the prices were a bit too high even if the currency was converted to British Pounds.

Nevertheless, we agreed as the place had a pretty exterior with a garden n beautiful plants. So,  I foolishly assumed that we were paying for the exquisite ambience of the place.

Alas! The place only looked good, but it definitely did not feel goof. Firstly. almost all of us had chairs which had scraps of paint coming off it. Worse still, a couple of my friends were given chairs with a wet seat................

This was just the begininning, then, we ordered 2 kettles of Devonshire tea and 2 sets of of pastries.............To our dismay, the pastries were really puny compared to the one in Britain, in fact it was smaller than our Gardenia Muffins. To make matters worse, we paid more than RM10.00 for each of that pastries.

I assure you the kettle had the word Devonshire on it, but somehow the tea did not feel so! In fact, It had a distinctly familiar taste...............BOH TEA!

To add oil into the fire, they refused to give us extra cups as there were 6 of us but we only ordered 2 kettles............apparently its copany policy that you must order a 3rd kettle for the 2 more cups.  Pathetic approach to empty the wallets of your clients.........Guess they believe in sucking you dry at the very first opportunity as EVEL A FOOL would think twice about making a second visit.

Btw, the kettles here contained less than 150ml of tea..........so it is the mini ones..........hence we were also conned here.

Regarding the sister join in Fraser's Hills, my friend said the service was impeccable and it had value for money............hence expressed utter disappointment at the situation here.

Whoa! It's been 2 months since i last updated my blog...............this also means I only have 2 more months of holidays left :(

I've had a splendid time for the past two months, which is part of the reason behind my absence in the blogosphere. The cameron trip was definitely the best point of the holidays thus far! I also am an Unit Trust Consultant now........so work too has taken some off my time.

Btw, Eugene thanx a lot for your generous investment! I will make sure you reap the rewards! (It was bought at the unit price of 0.0210 cents)

Since kayakai n kayachan have illustrated clearly abt the wonderful trip...........I shall blog abt a certain place that was a bloody rip off there!

I have been telling everyone back home in Malaysia that I will complete my exams only on the 29^th of May when in reality it already ended on the 14^th.

Well, actually this was part of my multiple surprise plan as I changed my arrival date from the 10^th of June to May 21^st instead! This wouldn't have been possible without the help of cousin Malar & aunty Shegari who kept the secret all the way till crunch time!

Surprise No.1 : Mom & Granma

The airport limo that I took from KLIA, brought me straight to the doorsteps of my home at USJ 2. As I rang the doorbell (a new one), the maid came to see who it was and started telling my grandmother, that 'adik besar' is here. Since, no one could've guessed that I would actually be coming home on the 21^st, granma thought it was hel oldest grandson instead.

Much to her surprise, it was ME!!!! She started calling my mum in a teary voice the moment she saw me outside the house. As I entered the house, my mum just came out of the prayer room and burst into tears because of the pleasant surprise! It was a joy filled moment as my mum was already grumbling to another relative that I have been gone for too long!

Well, I'm back now, though not for good yet, 4 months is a decently good amount of time! As mum had prepared my favorite dishes, mutton briyani & cheese cake as she was under the impression that a family friend will be arriving later to send this food to me while in transit to London!

The food never made it to London, why does it have to, when I am already here? Yum, yum, yum, how much I have missed home cooked food!

Surprise No.2: Brother

Initial plan, I wanted to hide in the room n jump out of obscurity to surprise him but was advised against it as he might have panicked & ran down the stairs in fright!

Hence, I just made my grand entry when he was trash talking to my grandma n mom. The surprise entry left him startled and shocked. He was in disbelieve and kept on asking my mum, "how come he is back so early?"

Surprise No.3: The Gang (Kei,Iz & Fiona)

Kei suspected something amiss when she saw farewell messages from my friends in UK. Fortunately, yours truly managed to convince her that I was still in London at my friends place.

So, once again I made my grand entry while they were waiting in the theatre watchin 'Night At The Museum 2'. Here are their responses:

I will post my movie review on another day! But, the best part of it was watching with the friends that matter! It was great to watch a movie together after so long!
